Founded in 2017 by visionary entrepreneurs Mr Karthi Moothsamy and Mr Sugen Moodley, Tamil Business Warriors (TBW) was established with a simple yet powerful purpose: to create a dynamic platform where entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders could connect, collaborate, and grow together.
Today, TBW has evolved into one of the most influential business networking organisations within the South African business landscape, while proudly embracing members from all backgrounds who share our values of entrepreneurship, integrity, innovation, and collective success.

Our Story
Tamil Business Warriors was born from the vision of two serial entrepreneurs who recognised a significant gap within the business community.
While many talented entrepreneurs possessed exceptional products, services, and ideas, they often lacked access to trusted networks, strategic partnerships, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities that could accelerate their growth.
Rather than creating another traditional business association, our founders envisioned a community built on relationships, trust, knowledge sharing, and mutual success.
They believed that when entrepreneurs support one another, entire communities prosper.
Since its inception, TBW has grown from a local networking initiative into an internationally recognised organisation connecting hundreds of entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and industry leaders across multiple regions.
We hosts business regular networking events, leadership forums, educational workshops, community initiatives, and strategic collaborations designed to create real business opportunities for our members across all chapters.
A defining milestone in our journey came in 2023 with the launch of the Indian Ocean Rim Office in Mauritius. This expansion marked the beginning of a new chapter, extending TBW’s international reach while strengthening business relationships across Mauritius, Reunion Island, and Madagascar.
The office serves as a strategic hub for fostering regional collaboration, encouraging investment opportunities, and supporting members seeking international business growth.
Today, TBW continues to strengthen its footprint with active chapters across KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, the Eastern Cape, the Western Cape, London, Mauritius, and Reunion Island, creating an ever-expanding global network of entrepreneurs united by a common vision of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
